Kinderen vinden dat er in Karinthië zoveel te doen is!
Op de bergen, in de meren, in dorpen en steden zijn vele verrassende en avontuurlijke activiteiten te beleven.
Wandelen met lama’s, zomerrodelen, paardrijden, bungeejumpen, wandelen tussen de bergspleet (klamm), raften, mountainbiken door de bossen, barbecueën of een vuurtje stoken langs de avontuurlijke rivier de Gail: het kan allemaal in Karinthië.
Het dal van Karintië is vlak en de Bergen zijn hoog
Zowel in de zomer als in de winter schijnt veelvuldig de zon waardoor het fijn is om buiten te zijn. Karinthië heeft veel grote en kleine meren waar kinderen kunnen zwemmen en alle watersporten kunnen beoefenen. Er is veel ruimte en weinig verkeer.
Karinthië ligt erg centraal en grenst aan Slovenië en Italië. Een dagje zwemmen in de Middellandse zee en dan ‘s avonds een pizza en een echt Italiaans ijsje eten kan dan ook gemakkelijk gecombineerd worden.
De Karinthische keuken zelf valt bij kinderen ook erg in de smaak. Schnitsels, worstjes, patat en natuurlijk de oostenrijkse pannenkoek de palatschinken of Kaiserschmarren met appelmoes.
Na een dag vol sneeuw, waterpret of avontuur slapen kinderen heerlijk. In de zomer daalt in de bergen de nachttemperatuur wat de nachtrust zeer ten goede komt.
